Five years ago, Eco Outdoors was established, which came about with the manufacturing of the "Tubber" , which is a new and innovative  product for the camping industry which has been patented – No. 2009/05580.

We would like to introduce your company to our products which we feel may be a good seller to your market.

The first being the ‘Tubber’ which comes in three different sizes and is made of specially prepared rubber tubing with a 90kg – 180kg breaking strain cord or Dyneema.

The Tubber creates a ‘spring’ (often called wind spring) between your tent, storm strap or guy rope and peg – giving it flexibility in windy conditions.

Mini Tubber

The Mini Tubber is used instead of the ‘O’- Ring which connects the tent to the tent peg.

This Tubber is used when you require your tent to have some minimum movement in windy conditions.

The Mini Tubber is made up of 5 cm of 12mm orange rubber tubing with a 90kg breaking strain cord running through the middle and single loops on each end for attaching to the tent and peg.

General Tubber

The General Tubber is also used instead of the ‘O’ – Ring which connect the tent to the tent peg – but for larger tents.

It may also be used on medium duty guy ropes.

The General Tubber is made up of 7.5 cm of 12mm blue rubber tubing with 90kg breaking strain cord running through the middle and single loops on each end, making it a more heavy-duty Tubber for tents.

Storm Tubber

The Storm Tubber provides a far stronger ‘spring’ for very windy conditions and is also suggested for extra-large tents, guy ropes and our ‘Storm Straps’.

The Storm Tubber is made up of 7.5 cm x 14mm green rubber tubing with a 180kg breaking strain dyneema cord running through the middle and single loops on each end. This is a very strong and abrasive resistant cord.

Storm Strap

The ‘Storm Strap’ is used over a tent during windy conditions, assisting in keeping the tent secure.

Our ‘Storm Straps’ are available in any length – the most popular being the 8m, 10m, 13m, 15m and 18m – all sizes being adjustable.

They are made of strong 38 mm wide webbing with metal triangles on each end and a glider on one side – making it adjustable in order to get the correct length required to cover you tent.

We provide a ‘Storm Tubber’ in each package which we suggest be used in order to give some ‘spring’ to the Storm Strap creating some flexibility during windy conditions there by adding protection to your tent against wind strain placed on the tent fabric.
